Salacia is a 1966 Morgan 34 Mark I — the fifth hull ever built by Morgan Yachts of this model out of 700. The original design was intended to mirror the Cruising Club of America (CCA) measurement rule used to handicap and rate sailing yachts. Prominent in the mid-20th century, it shaped a golden age of cruiser-racer sailboat design, encouraging sturdy, seaworthy vessels just like this Grand Dame.  SALACIA (who was the ancient Roman goddess of saltwater and the depths of the ocean:)  features a sleek hull and long-legged keel, resulting in excellent stability and less mave motion.   She is well-suited for both coastal cruising and blue-water sailing.

Salacia has spent her entire life on Great Lakes freshwater: No crazing, no blistering, no osmotic damage, no salt corrosion anywhere on this hull.

Between 2022 and 2026 she went through an extensive refit (all documents available upon request) — both side decks rebuilt from scratch, every window replaced, full electrical rewire, head retrofitted, new Alex-seal paint, and the interior completely redesigned.  This is boat is step aboard ready to sail!

But wait there's more!

Full electrical rewire.  New 120V AC breaker panel and shore power system. Wired from scratch, done properly.

Once you descent below, you feel as though you have entered the sea goddess' lair! The entire interior has been redesigned to project a Retro-modern boutique look, yet also comfortable for staying aboard for long stretches of time.  Seafoam retro-styled refrigerator, microwave, toaster & ice maker, electric grill & griddle, vinyl flooring, 32" Smart TV, all new custom cushions. Zero leaks, spotless gelcoat.  The lockers are spacious to hold not only foulies, but the yacht club sundresses as well!

Engine recently serviced and what a dependable engine it is;  Universal Atomic 4.  Oil has been recently changed, spark plugs replaced, impeller replaced, carburetor cleaned and reset. Two batteries onboard, one new.

Come to Racine and take a look at this beauty, she's in the water and available to show anytime.  Call Ferd!
