Allow us to introduce you to FLYING CIRCUS!

The owner has taken "REBUILD" to a new level.... this sailboat is new for all intents and purposes.  Do not be misled by a 47 year old boat, she is an oldie but a goodie and a step on board ready to sail boat.  This sailboat also has a great PHRF racing certificate rating of 140.

When Canadian-born naval architect Rob Ball talks about favourites among the dozens of boats he designed for C&C Yachts, he lists the 1979 C&C 34 as one his best.

Unbelievably, this boat has had only 2 owners and has always been splashed in freshwater, sailing and racing (4 Queens Cups and 3 Chicago Mac races plaques to prove:) Lake Michigan for decades.

Above deck, one will be amazed at all the electronics $$$  upgrades to include a Raymarine autopilot with remote control (this boat is actually quite tricked up for Single handed sailing:), all new running lights, all new travelers, (Garhauer EZ glide) all new spin, main and genny halyards, standard Horizon VHF, optional NAVTEC hydraulic backstay and headsail furler and so much more invested.  The sail inventory is substantial with a crisp, hardly used mainsail, a #1 Genoa and #3 Genoa plus a new storm jib and pretty/ like new, SPIN!

If an extra part is needed, extra inventory is neatly stacked and stored below should one need an extra LED, winch handle, VHF part, etc.  Nice to know you don't need to run to the Marine store every day.

Below deck one instantly notices no "old Boat Smell".  The ventilation system is perfectly designed to let fresh air in with new cowl vents placed throughout and vents in the plexiglass hatch inserts to pull in fresh air.  Newly upholstered waterproof cushions and surprising room above one's head is the second observation in a well lit dining salon.  Another surprise is all of the plexiglass windows have been replaced and....no crazing.  Very rare in a boat of this age, you can actually SEE out the windows.  Little details harken to "yesteryear", with pipe berths/hammocks for a crew of kids, a naval "ship-style" dining table that serves to also prevent dishes from sliding is another ingenious addition from the past to present.

The icebox (no fridge) holds loads of provisions as do the sliding door shelves.  A great (and safer) addition is the CNG gimbaled gas stove and oven.  Clean as a whistle, but used often as per owner.  The storage lockers can hold 4 to 5 PFD's AND a cocktail dress or two:)  The marine head has ample room for not only standing but sitting, and LED lighting makes for a bright space.  The V Berth also is spacious as is the Aft port quarter berth.

But wait, there's more:  The winter cover is new last year and not a scrape or rip.  The Cradle is included with sailboat as is the hard bottomed fiberglass dinghy.

The seller has moved and cannot bring boat along, sadly, so very motivated to sell.  Please call FERD now to set up a physical or video tour now!
